The Motorola WX404 QWERTY candybar (recently approved by the FCC) has just been officially unveiled by Moto under the name of Motorola Grasp.

The phone is a CDMA/EVDO/AWS one, which means it will be released by MetroPCS in the US.

Unlike other recent QWERTY offerings from Moto (Charm, FlipOut), the Graps WX404 doesn’t run Android – it’s just a feature phone. The good news is that it’s “BFR and PCV free with a housing that is 100% recyclable at end of life.”

Feature-wise, the Grasp offers:

2.2-inch display with 220 x 176 pixels Full QWERTY keyboard GPS Stereo Bluetooth 2.1 3.5 mm headset jack Music player Email 1.3MP camera MicroSD card support

Motorola didn’t announce the price of the Grasp WX404, but the phone should be cheap. It will be available starting this quarter.
