Review: Trek iPhone Case by Cocoon

Trek1 Cases that serve multiple functions well are getting rarer and rarer as more and more devices tend to have unique dimensions and special needs when it comes to cases. It seems like every phone has its little foibles that make it require a custom fit all it’s own. Add to that the fact that most “generic” cases are boring and will fit all devices equally badly and they are no solution at all if you really care about your devices.

When I received the Trek iPhone case from Cocoon I admit I was not sure what to do with it, as I myself do not have an iPhone…but as I looked at the case I realized that its special features could make it ideal for more than just an iPhone. I decided to try it out to see if it would be able to satisfy a special project of mine…the quest to find a decent case for my Zune HD.

Lo and behold…it is a fantastic Zune HD case, and all the things that make it perfectly suited for the Zune are the same things that make it perfect for the iPhone or the iPod Touch…really for any device of around that size in which durability, headphone management and accessibility are essential.
